Scientific figures · invite-only beta
BioGlyph
An editor for scientific figures that stay editable. The same figure can be edited by hand, built through MCP tools from your own AI assistant, and exported with its provenance.
What it does
- Editable vector figures: SVG, PDF and PPTX export with native shapes and text.
- A typed scene model, so a figure can be edited by hand, generated through MCP tools and exported.
- Open-licence artwork (Bioicons, Servier Medical Art under CC BY 4.0, NIAID BioArt, Reactome) restyled to one house style, with a licence and attribution record for each icon.
- Exports figures at exact physical size and resolution; confirm your target journal's requirements.
- Graphs exported from BioPlot as SVG can be brought in.
AI
The assistant is optional and uses your own key. Every AI change is shown for review before it is applied and can be undone in one step. AI output is a draft for you to check; illustrations generated by AI are not editable vector icons. A local MCP server lets your own assistant build figures. See Connect your AI.
Limits
- Invite-only beta: access needs an invitation, features may change and there is no service level agreement.
- Templates do not yet have named scientific owners, references or review dates. Check every figure for scientific correctness yourself.
- The artwork library is growing; not every indexed icon is available in the editor yet.
- The product name is provisional and may change before public launch.
